The Sd.Kfz.234 is a series of German eight-wheeled heavy armored reconnaissance vehicles produced between 1943 and 1945. The Sd.Kfz.234/3 is a fire support type nicknamed "Schummel (stump), with an open-top body and a 24-caliber 7.5cm K51.88 gun. These vehicles were produced starting in June 1944.
Rye Field Model's 1/35-scale model kit of the Sd.Kfz.234/3 Schwerer Panzerspahwagen includes a metal barrel, 3D-printed parts for the spare tires and fire extinguisher, photo-etched parts and decals for three versions. Two sets of tires with different tread patterns are also included, as are parts for the Tatra V12 engine.
